  1. Your conclusion is illogical, just because maybe they didn't watch golf as children it doesn't follow that "they have no interest in creating a legacy on the PGA Tour."
  2. Bear Mountain Golf course hole 4, par 5, 463 yards, elevation 7,000 feet. I've had a 6 iron in for my second shot (and I'm 64 years old). Probably shouldn't be a par 5.
  3. Thanks, that's a good table.
  4. I just asked him, he works for a biotech company called Hologic. He said they just wanted him to do it, maybe for to start a database? He did send me his number fwiw,
  5. Lab Corp has a "Semi-Quantitative" test that I'm considering taking. I'm a leukemia survivor, had a bone marrow transplant, I have GVHD, and I'm on immune suppression medication (tacrolimus, sirolimus, prednisone). Some of my Dr.'s patients in the same situation as me got no response from the vaccine I took the qualitative test and I have antibodies, but I have no idea how protected I am. I recently got the Moderna booster. The Lab Corp Semi-Quantitative test gives no indication of what is a good response. It's just a number. I don't see the point of taking the test if there is no way to interpret the number. Still I want to take it, I can at least compare it to the number my neighbor got (his employer required the test).
  6. Meaningless. Pretty easy to add that up to get 100% and understand what that is. Again, meaningless. What percent of the White race has been vaccinated?, What percent of the African Americans have been vaccinated? etc.
  7. What do you all make of Patrick Reed's statements regarding his hospitalization with pneumonia. He said he didn't know if he had Covid and wasn't tested until leaving the hospital. (Seems nearly impossible to me). He said he had been vaccinated. (Seems pretty unlikely to me). Later some sources said he did have Covid, but NBC made no mention of it during the Tour Championship, they only mentioned the pneumonia. Seems to me he missed an opportunity to be a good guy and use himself as an example, a 31 year old that was hospitalized with Covid. It also seems NBC missed an opportunity to report it. It's all very strange.
  8. The first hurdle would be to get people to listen for the first time. I've never listened to a golf podcast and have no desire to search one out. The second hurdle would be to get people to continue to listen and to do that it would have to be really entertaining and probably need to be very funny, at least to keep me interested. I mean Robin Williams level of humor. I don't see that as being possible.
  9. Just click a button to say you are immune-compromised. However, in my case CVS could just look up my prescriptions and see the immune suppression meds that they sale me. I don't think this is necessary for those that are not immune-compromised. This is not about extending the life of the vaccine, rather it's about upping the antibodies on those that didn't get the full effect of the initial shots.
  10. CVS is already on board to give booster shots to the immune-compromised. I'm getting one, scheduled for tomorrow morning.
  11. I don't remember, he must not have been. Do you have to be on the clock to get a penalty? Four minutes! It was a big moment, last hole, par 5, 2nd shot, needed an eagle to tie Jason Day. Laid up but it ended in the rough. He was one of the last groups if not the last group.
  12. Yes and I hope they will apply it even-handedly. (Charley Hoffman 4 minutes, 2nd shot on the 18th at Torrey)
  13. The rare one stroke slow play penalty to John Catlin... Took 63 seconds to play second shot after a warning on an earlier hole. PGA Championship 2021: Rare pace of play penalty strikes at Kiawah | Golf News and Tour Information | Golf Digest John Catlin was twice flagged for taking too much time to hit shots, and the second time cost him a one-stroke penalty
  14. I was supposed to have a blood draw today for lab tests and an appointment with the Hematology Oncologist tomorrow. Meanwhile Scripps Health yesterday was hit with a ransomware attack and I got a phone call letting me know my appointments are cancelled. Not sure how this will all sort out but I'm hoping I don't go to the end of the line, the Dr. is usually booked up for a month or two. When I do get the appointment I want to ask the Dr. about life-style recommendations given the Moderna vaccination, and the Jan. 2021 Lancet study on HSCT with immune suppression and Covid 19. Specifically regarding outdoor activities like golf.
